I’m a bit late getting these ‘week in photos’ up, but I’ll get caught up soon!
I tweeted asking if anyone knew a recipe for flapjack, as last time I’d made it, it had been too sweet and didn’t set properly (a Lorraine Pascal recipe). I received only one response and I followed it (and added cranberries). I had a perfect flapjack from that – thanks twitter!
I made baguettes again and we filled some of them with sausages from the Avid Organics new farm shop.
I bought myself a copy of the Hairy Bikers pie book, and with the recipe for shortcrust pastry I made a pancetta, pea and mint tart.
We went to Gringo’s in Huddersfield too – I loved the bright colours in there.
