Dave cooked steak (Yorkshire Highland Cattle) with fried potatoes and homemade onion rings
We ventured in to Leeds today and stopped to have lunch at The Cross Keys in Holbeck. I had a fish finger sandwich and chips and although the chips were a little on the salty side, I really enjoyed the sandwich.
Dave cooked orecchiette con cime di rapa (pasta with turnip tops) for tea – it was *DELICIOUS*.
We visited Kirkstall for the first Kirkstall Deli Market of the year and had a really good time spending too much!
Out with friends. We went to Temujin in Huddersfield. It’s an all you can eat ‘Mongolian Barbecue’ place where you pick the ingredients you want and the chefs cook it in front of you with a choice of sauces.
