I have two tasks; make an Argentinian meal and bake a cake for Clandestine Cake Club so I decided to combine the two tasks.
For my Argentinian recipe I have made dulce de leche, which is apparently very popular. When researching, it sounded simple! Put a tin of condensed milk in a pan and boil it. But then I read some more…. About cans exploding! I wasn’t convinced so I found a recipe that involved pouring the contents of a tin (I used 2) in to a tray, sitting that in a tray of boiling water and then cooking for 2 hours. Then once it comes out, you have to beat it back in to a proper consistency!
The plan is for me to make the cake on Thursday so I will update again with that then!
